Privacy

Last updated 30 June 2026

apptlas is open source, and this site is its public landing page. We collect as little as possible, and never sell your data or run advertising.

Who we are

This site is operated by the apptlas project (Marcos Sáez, Madrid, Spain). For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].

What we collect, and why

  • Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4). Aggregated page views and interaction events, with IP addresses anonymized. This only runs after you acceptin the cookie banner, and helps us understand what's useful. Processed by Google.
  • Error monitoring (self-hosted Sentry). When something breaks, diagnostic data about the error is sent to our own Sentry instance so we can fix it. Personal data is scrubbed before sending, and it sets no cookies.
  • Security. Standard request metadata and Content-Security-Policy violation reports, used only to keep the site secure.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent for analytics (which you can withdraw at any time), and on legitimate interest for error monitoring and security — both strictly to operate the site reliably and safely.

Cookies

No cookies are set until you accept analytics. Details are in our cookie policy.

Sharing & transfers

Analytics data is processed by Google, which may process it outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards. Error and security data stays on our own infrastructure. We do not share your data with anyone else.

Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings. Error diagnostics are kept only as long as needed to investigate and fix issues.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, or erasure of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time via Cookie preferences in the footer. To exercise any right, email [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest version.
